| Description |
English: This antique Filipino sword is believed to have originated from the Visayas, as evidenced by the absence of a peened tang, and the wooden construction of the scabbard (Luzon scabbards, except for Cordilleran ones, are almost always made of leather).
The leather "throat" on the scabbard further hints to a probable Panay- Negros provenance of the bolo. The wood hilt is round in section, and the circular ferrule is made of iron.
