Description
This is a smaller version Arnesen's 1928 painting of the Danish squadron saluting King Christian X of Denmark. In the larger work the Royal Yacht can be seen to the far right. The squadron was led by Niels Juel, followed by Olfert Fischer and the small cruiser Heimdal. To the left the three torpedo boats of the Søridderen class (D1-D3) and to the right the three Hvalrossen torpedo boats (E1-E3). See "Other versions".
