The Viking Biology Instrument (VBI) pack carried aboard the Viking spacecraft, on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art in Cleveland, Ohio. Developed by TRW Instruments in Cleveland, Ohio, this was used by the Viking spacecraft to test for the presence of life on Mars. It is the only VBI left on Earth; the other two are on Mars. |
