Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View from Little Castle Common, Burley Street Around the edge of the New Forest, the landscape is dominated by heather, bracken and gorse. Apparently the word forest originally meant hunting ground, with no implication of trees.

There is a road hidden just behind the foreground mound.

The shining white building in the distance may be Bournemouth (Hurn) airport.
