Description |
» grandquebec.com/400-anniversaire/actualites-2008/patrimoine-architectural/rue-sous-le-cap/ English: "Sous-le-Cap Street, in the Old Port district, is one of the most unique in Quebec City. In the early 1800s, it was just a path along the cliff of Diamond Cape (cap Diamant), which allowed pedestrians to travel from the Lower Town to the street Cote Du Palais (côte du Palais) at low tide. Starting in 1816, this path became named as rue Sous-le-Cap." grandquebec.com/400-anniversaire/actualites-2008/patrimoine-architectural/rue-sous-le-cap/ |
