English: Victoria Bridge, Leeds This graceful stone arch crosses the River Aire, south of City Square. Unusually, the bridge bears its name on a plaque on the parapet. A keen eye will detect a sag in the elliptical arch and the parapet at the crown. This is believed to have occurred during construction. |
