Description

Père Lachaise cemetery, Paris Marc Schoelcher, porcelainier parisien, père de Victor Schoelcher, homme politique, signataire comme sous-secrétaire d'État du décret d'abolition de l'esclavage du 27 avril 1848.

Selon la volonté de Victor, la dépouille de Marc Schoelcher a été transférée aux cotés de son fils au Panthéon, depuis 1949.
