Description
Français : Grotte de la Verpillière 1, près de Germolles, Mellecey, Saône-et-Loire, France.

Tranchet ou serpette, faite d'un rognon oblong de silex opaque. Une extrémité, laissée brute, forme un manche de préhension très lisse. L'autre bout a été taillé en serpette courbe, très aigüe et tranchante des deux côtés. Le travail est aussi soigné sur les deux faces. La grotte a livré plus de 20 pièces similaires. Dans François Chabas, « Notes sur la caverne de Germolles », (lettre de F. Chabas à Charles Méray à propos de la grotte de Germolles, 20 avril 1876), Mémoires de la Société d'histoire et d'archéologie de Chalon-sur-Saône, t. 18, 2e série,‎ 1934-1935, planche p. 266 bis, n° 7. Description p. 273.

Frick et al. (2017, p. 77) classent cette pièce comme micoquienne (Keilmesser).
