This building on Toomemägi hill in Tartu, Estonia, is known as Vana Anatonoomikum or The Old Anatomical Theatre. The central building was built in 1803-05 while the crescent-shaped wings were added in 1825-27. It houses an amphitheatre-like lecture hall and was used as an anatomical theatre until 1999. |
