Description

Valladolid – España (Spain) – Iglesia de la Magdalena: Fue reedificada en el año 1566 siguiendo los planos del arquitecto Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón. Es de destacar en su fachada de estilo renacentista, con el inmenso escudo en piedra del pacificador del Perú, el obispo Pedro de la Gasca.

La iglesia es de una sola nave con bóvedas de crucería. Las esculturas del retablo fueron realizadas entre los años 1571 y 1575 por Esteban Jordán.
