GOLES: 1-0: 14’, Fuertes. 2-0: 57’, Badenes. 3-0: 59’, Fuertes. ALINEACIONES: VALENCIA: Quique; Quincoces II, Monzó (capitán), Belenguer; Pasieguito, Puchades; Mañó, Fuertes, Badenes, Buqué y Seguí; entrenador: Jacinto Quinzoces. BARCELONA: Velasco; Seguer, Biosca, Segarra; Flotats, Bosch; Basora, Luis Suárez, César (capitán), Moreno y Manchón; entrenador: Ferdinand Daucik. ÁRBITRO: José Luis González Echevarría, Guipúzcoa. INCIDENCIAS: Final que jugaban el Valencia y el Barcelona, tras haber eliminado en semifinales al Sevilla y al Real Madrid respectivamente. Se jugó el partido el domingo 20 de junio de 1954 a las cinco y media de la tarde, con 110.000 personas en las gradas atiborrando Chamartín. El Jefe del Estado Francisco Franco entregó la Copa a Salvador Monzó, capitán del Valencia, equipo que se adjudicaba el título por tercera vez en su historia.
