Description
English: U.S. Navy Supervisor of Salvage and Diving personnel operate a Vessel of Opportunity Skimming System (VOSS) aboard the Naval Sea Systems command-contracted offshore supply vessel Seacor Vanguard to mitigate damage from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Deepwater Horizon was an ultra-deepwater oil rig that sank April 22, causing a massive oil spill threatening the U.S. Gulf Coast.
