Description
English: S65-35589 (18 June 1965) --- Astronaut Charles Conrad Jr., pilot for the prime crew on the Gemini-5 spaceflight, takes pictures of predetermined land areas during visual acuity experiments over Laredo, Texas. The experiments will aid in learning to identify known terrestrial features under controlled conditions. Knowledge gained from these experiments will have later application for space pilots identifying terrestrial features from space.
