Description
Deutsch: Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg: "Die Geisterarmee der Heike erscheint in der Daimotsu-Bucht von Sesshu". Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798 - 1861).

Die Szene bezieht sich auf die Machkämpfe der Familienclans im 21. Jh. Nachdem die Taira die letzte und entscheidende Niederlage gegen die Minamoto erlitten hatten, erscheinen sie angeführt von Taira no Tomomori, als Geisterarmee. Auf dem Schiff befinden sich unter anderem der siegreiche Minamoto no Yoshitsune und sein Begleiter Benkei.
