Description
English: Young Touareg woman with her baby in Akoubounou village, Abalak Department, Niger, August 21, 2005. At Akoubounou, a semi-nomadic and pastoralist village of the Touareg ethnic group, USAID met with the village mayor and court of Touareg tribal chiefs, who represent approximately 25,000 semi-nomadic and nomadic people.
