Artificial embankments in Lake Uri

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The non-reusable part of the excavated material from the Gotthard Base Tunnel (railway) was deposited together with other material at the beginning of Lake Uri (Lake Lucerne). The embankments were created in such a way that the three Neptune Islands to the west were created as a nature reserve. To the east, the three bathing islands of the Lorelei Group were filled.
