Summary

[edit]
Description

English: System of Pleistocene km-wide braided rivers, flowing with a very gentle gradient. Research on the not cemented sediments called "Goldshöfer Sande" and on Keuper-Flintstones, found in quarries and highest fluvial terraces of the Schwäbisch-Fränkische Waldberge and around Aalen’s river gate to the Swabian Alb verified that the contemporary rhenish drainage of the northeastern Schichtstufenland was all danubian across the Swabian Alb until it was captured in Middle Pleistocene.
