Description

Transportiert wird abgereichertes Uranhexafluorid (UF6) von der Urananreicherungsanlage (UAA) Urenco in Gronau auf dem Schienenweg durch NRW bis zum Hafen in Amsterdam, von dort über den Seeweg nach Russland mit dem Ziel Novouralsk.

Atomgegner demonstrieren und halten Mahnwachen entlang der Zugstrecke. Einige Aktivisten versuchen den Zug zu stoppen. Zahl der Demonstranten steigt. Verstärkt Gegner aus Russland beteiligen sich. Auch in den Niederlanden wird demonstriert. Kritisiert wird u.a. Russland als kostengünstiges Endlager zu nutzen. Deutsche Urananreicherungsanlagen sind nicht direkt vom Atomausstieg betroffen.
