English: Dr.M.DURAIRASAN has obtained his B.E. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) at Adhiparasakthi Engineering College, Melmaruvathur, M.E. (Process Control and Instrumentation) at Annamalai University and Ph.D (Electrical) at Anna University Chennai. He has possessed 14 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He has handled responsible administrative positions in various Engineering colleges like Training & Placement Officer, Head-Department of Electrical Engineering, NSS Coordinator, RRC Coordinator and Electrical Maintenance. Presently he has been holding the incharge of Dean Position since 2016 onwards and HOD for Electrical and Electronics Department at University College of Engineering Thirukkuvalai.
He has been doing and arranging number of programs as a coordinator such as technical and non-technical events like National and International conferences, Workshops, NSS Program Events, Placement activities, Faculty Development Training Programs, College Annual Day Celebrations and Graduation day.
He is a life member of various Professional bodies such as IEEE and ISTE. He had got Certificate of Commendation award for appreciable performance as the NSS Programme officer at Periyar Maniammai University, Thanjavur in 2008. He has delivered talks in various Engineering Colleges and also presented a number of papers in National and International conferences on different areas in electrical engineering.
