Summary
[edit]DescriptionUnhelpful sign - geograph.org.uk - 267989.jpg |
English: Unhelpful sign Most of us are very cooperative with the commercial needs of estates, but can some one explain, why these signs are still situated like this?
2km from any car parking, and a long way from a working phone? No use leaving a number. This needs to be at the Kirk car park, or entrance to the glen. Including the hind season guarantees non cooperation too. A waste of paint, metal and I suspect wasted stalking days. Noone will turn back now that they have got this far. Fortunately many areas now are getting the information where it is needed, especially with the Hillphones service. It was a Sunday too, day deliberately chosen, so no problems getting on to Beinn Dearg. |
