His eyes were twin-kling, and as for Aunt Abigail she began tolaugh silently, shaking all over, her napkin ather mouth to stifle the sound. Elizabeth Annturned wonderingly and saw the old dog cau-tiously and noiselessly letting himself downfrom the sofa, one ear cocked rigidly in thedirection of Cousin Anns voice in the nextroom.
