Description
English: Shema of underground introduction device. Such devices yoo may meet in Europe. Old contain knife fuses, modern ones circuit breaker.
  • Advantages: mechanically stable to the weather conditions, cause strong wind can't do any damage at all.
  • Disadvantages:
    • 1) may be opened by playing children in the garden and kill them by electrocution;
    • 2) quite often become robbed by copper or metal thiefs;
    • 3) vandals may easily open acces into uninsulated hot busbars
    • 4) if there appears some corrosion on ground terminal, it will become time bomb, which may electrocute anyone who will touch it's cover.
However, they are acknowledged as "safety installations" by regulators in official level.
