Uitladen nieuwe Beursbengel (luidklok) voor de Koopmansbeurs. Trefwoorden: luidklok; beurs Plaats: Amsterdam; Noord-Holland NB. Op 27 november 1942 werd de Beursbengel - zoals de luidklok officieel heet - door de Duitsers weggehaald en in Hamburg versmolten.

Een nieuwe klok werd - in opdracht van het in 1945 opgerichte Beursbengel-comité - gegoten door klokkengieterij NV Petit en Fritzen uit Aarle-Rixtel (Nrd.Brabant) en geplaatst op 26 mei 1948 in de klokkentoren. De 1672 kg wegende nieuwe Beursbengel, welke door middel van een electrisch installatie bedient gaat worden, werd op 28 juni 1948 in gebruik genomen.
