Summary

[edit]
Description UTC@Harbourside (University Technical College), Railway Quay, Newhaven, East Sussex, England. This was opened as a 14–18 (Key Stage 4 and 5) technical college in 2015 with support from the University of Brighton. It closed in mid-July 2019 because of funding problems and insufficient student numbers. When photographed about a week after its closure, it retained the UTC@Harbourside branding. It is a converted industrial building on the quayside near Newhaven Harbour. This photograph was taken from the opposite (west) side of the River Ouse, which is in the foreground.
