GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 15, 2008) - An MH-60S Knighthawk assigned to the "Blackjacks" of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron (HSC) 21 lowers a stack of wooden pallets onto the flight deck of the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Bridge (T-AOE 10) during a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). A RAS is a means of re-supplying a ship with food, fuel and mail and is an integral part of the U.S. Navy sustaining deployments for long periods of time at sea. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
