English: U.S. Naval Academy (May 28, 2004) - Midshipmen stand during the administration of Oath of Office for graduates entering service as a Navy Ensign during the U.S. Naval Academy class of 2004 graduation and commissioning ceremony. Nine hundred-ninety Midshipmen graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and became commissioned officers in the U.S. Military. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers delivered the commencement address and personally greeted each graduate during the ceremony. The men and women of the graduating class were sworn into the Navy as Ensigns or into the Marine Corps as Second Lieutenants.
