English: Nagoya, Japan (Mar. 14, 2004) - Electrician's Mate 1st Class Bernardo Pepa, of Olongapo City, Philippines, burns leaves after cleaning the yard at Shirayama Shirta Shrine, Nagoya, Japan, during a USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) community relations project. Blue Ridge is the command and control ship of U.S. Seventh Fleet, arrived in Nagoya, Japan on a routine port visit on Mar. 12, 2004. While in port, Sailors and Marines assigned to the ship experienced the culture and interacted with the local residents. Blue Ridge is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan.
