English: Cherry Point, N.C. (Mar. 3, 2003) -- U.S. Marine Corps Col. John D. Gumbel, Executive Officer of Naval Air Systems Command Cherry Point, waves from the backseat of an F-4 Phantom on the flight line. Col. Gumbel and test pilot Rich Bryant flew the aircraft to the Pacific Missile Test Center at Point Mugu, Calif., where the fighter jet will be used as a drone on the test range.
