Description
English: At sea aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Oct. 29, 2002 -- An F/A-18E “Super Hornet” assigned to the "Flying Eagles" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Two Two (VFA-122) makes an arrested landing on the ship’s flight deck during daytime carrier qualifications. Carl Vinson is underway off of the west coast conducting training in preparation for an upcoming regularly scheduled six month deployment. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate Airman Jonathan M.
