Description
English: Marathon runners participating in this year's Marine Corps Marathon get a taste of Rock Creek Park as the course runs through the more wooded area of the District of Columbia. This is the 27th Marine Corps Marathon, "The People's Marathon", which starts and ends at the Marine Corps Memorial in Arlington, VA. It is a 26 mile, 385 yard USA Track & Field certified course that runs through Arlington, Georgetown and the District of Columbia. U.S. Navy photo by Chief Photographer’s Mate Johnny Bivera.
