English: Suez Canal (Jul. 24, 2002) -- USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) passes under the Japan-Egypt Friendship Bridge while the aircraft carrier transits the Suez Canal during the early stages of her return home. Kennedy and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) are completing a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and were recently relieved of duties in the Arabian Gulf region by the USS George Washington (CVN 73).
