English: At sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) Mar. 26, 2002 -- An Air department crewmember makes final checks on the catapult and launch bar assembly before the launch of an E-2C “Hawkeye”, assigned to the "Screwtops” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Three (VAW-123). The “Screwtops” are part of Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1). Roosevelt and CVW-1 are returning home after completing 189 days deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
