Kennedy (CV 67) Feb. 21, 2002 -- Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Charles Gray assigned to 2nd Division Deck Department, uses signal paddles to inform the fast combat support ship USS Seattle (AO 3) to “heave around the messenger line” during a replenishment at sea.
