Description
English: Aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) Oct. 17, 2001 -- An Aviation Ordnanceman pushes a 2000-lb. "JDAM GPS-guided bomb" that will be used to strike targets in Afghanistan. These will be the first bombs deployed by the Theodore Roosevelt in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Chief Johnny Bivera, Fleet Combat Camera Atlantic.
