Description
English: U.S. Army Spc. Jacob Blackburn, left, from Fairbanks, Alaska, and Spc. Justin Tobener, right, both military policemen with the 164th Military Police Company, 793rd Military Police Battalion, 3rd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, look at the memorial stands of their fallen fellow soldier from the 164th during a memorial ceremony June 11 on Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan. Four military police officers from the 164th MP Company, Sgt. Christopher Bell, of Saint Joseph, Mich., Sgt. Joshua Powell, of Tyler, Texas, Spc. Robert Voakes, Jr., of Hancock, Mich., and Sgt. Devin Snyder of Cohockton, N.Y., were killed in an improvised explosive device attack June 4 outside Khanda Village in Laghman province, Afghanistan.
