Description	Pilot's eye view taken during an approach for recovery on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14), in 1957. Two Douglas A3D-2 Skywarrior (BuNo 138909, 138917) from Heavy Attack Squadron VAH-2 Det.M Royal Rampants are visible aft of the island. VAH-2 Det.M was assigned to Carrier Air Group 9 (CVG-9) aboard the Ticonderoga for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 16 September 1957 to 25 April 1958.
