Description ARABIAN GULF (July 20, 2015) –Lt. j.g. Jonathan Fair stands watch in the Combat Information Center (CIC) aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) during a combat systems training scenario. Normandy is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
