Description The following ships, the guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58), HMS Portland (F79) of the United Kingdom, FS La Fayette (F710) of France and RFS Admiral Chabanenko (650) of Russia sail the waters of the Atlantic Ocean as part of FRUKUS 2007. FRUKUS, named after the participating countries was created in 2003 to aid talks between France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. The countries will participate in a five-day exercise at Naval Station Norfolk and in the waters off the Virginia and North Carolina coast.
