Description
English: 150217-N-XK455-023 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Feb. 10, 2015) Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Chris Henry, from Grand Rapids, Mich., hardhat, explains hangar bay operations to members of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police and Yokosuka Police Station during a ship tour aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). George Washington and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
