Description
English: Scoreboard of Japanese planes and ships sunk is being painted on the “Quarterdeck” bulkhead of The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) on 20 August 1944. The "Big E" displayed two such billboards of her accomplishments in the Pacific since the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941.
