[edit]DescriptionUSS Drexler (DD-741) refueling Feb 1945.jpg | The U.S. Navy Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer USS Drexler (DD-741) at sea being refueled by the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31) in the Caribbean Sea, 19 February 1945. On 28 May 1945 Drexler was sunk off Okinawa by two kamikazes. Her casualties were 158 dead and 52 wounded. |
