BRISBANE, Australia (July 29, 2013) Sailors assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9) and embarked Royal Australian Navy sailors watch as a mooring line is thrown to the pier during a scheduled port call to Brisbane, Australia. Denver is on patrol with the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Group (31st MEU), is conducting routine joint-force operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
