Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Antietam (CVS-36) at Naples, Italy. Antietam was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 5 January to 15 March 1955. A SCB-27A-modernized attack carrier is anchored in the background, probably USS Randolph (CVA-15). Randolph, with assigned Air Task Group 181 (ATG-181) was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 30 November 1954 to 18 June 1955.
