Description
English: U.S. Navy Ensign Juan C. Benavides, assigned to the newly commissioned amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), and captain of the ship's soccer team, prepares to pass a soccer ball to a teammate during a match against the Brazilian navy Aug. 6, 2014, in Rio de Janeiro. The America embarked on a mission to conduct training engagements with partner nations throughout the Americas before reporting to its new home port of San Diego.
