Description A U.S. Navy fleet oiler, probably USS Mississinewa (AO-144), refueling the aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66) and the guided missile cruiser USS Springfield (CLG-7). America, with assigned to Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 6 July to 16 December 1971.
