English: Space Delta 2 leadership greet U.S. Army Gen. James H. Dickinson, commander, U.S. Space Command, Jan. 12, 2021, at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Dickinson visited DEL 2 as part of a tour of the Deltas across the U.S. Space Force. DEL 2 is one of eight mission-oriented Deltas within the USSF prepares, and presents assigned and attached forces for the purpose of executing combat-ready Space Domain Awareness operations to deter aggression and, if necessary, fight to protect and defend the U.S. and its allies from attack in, through and from space. |
