English: 040703-N-6932B-036 Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe, Hawaii (July 3, 2004) - Patrol aircraft representing the Republic of Korea and the United States, line the tarmac at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe, Hawaii. The aircraft are scheduled to take part in the multi-national maritime exercise Rim of the Pacific 2004 (RIMPAC). RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands. This year’s exercise includes seven participating nations; Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom and United States. RIMPAC is intended to enhance the tactical proficiency of participating units in a wide array of combined operations at sea, while enhancing stability in the Pacific Rim region.
