Description
English: Sgt. Ruben Acosta, team leader, technical rescue platoon, and Sgt. Christopher Garbutt, rescueman, maintain constant visual contact with a St. Louis firefighter rappeling down 'the hole' - a 100-foot drop to the ground - as Garbutt feeds the communication and air lines down. During training, the team must maintain audible and visual contact with the person on rappel, just as if they were involved in a real-world scenario. Chemical Biological Incident Response Force tech rescue, of II Marine Expeditionary Force, traveled to St. Louis to train with and support area first responders in their exercise.
