Description
English: Gunnery Sgt. Michael J. Cuttic, the vice president of the mess for the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366 Mess Night, conducts the traditional “March of the Beef,” before the officers and staff noncommissioned officers began eating aboard the USS North Carolina in Wilmington, N.C., May 24. The “March of the Beef” is when the vice president of the mess carries the first slice of meet to the president to be tasted and Okayed to be eaten by the mess.
