Marine of Company G. were awarded the medal for their actions in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. "It was also an honor to receive this award by Senator Vitale," said Samalcoins, a native of Indian Mills, New Jersey. "It was an honor to receive this award and follow in my father's footsteps. He also is a Marine and served in Vietnam." |
